Water Service Line Repair in Woodstock

The Problem

When the county informed Irma that she had a leak between the meter box and the street because someone drove over the box, she reached out to Grassroots. Our team hand-dug an access area to properly diagnose the issue and found a damaged water service line. Scheduling the work to be completed the next day was the best fit for Irma’s schedule.

Our Solution

We returned the next day to complete the job. After bailing standing water from the excavated area, we reset and stabilized the meter box and removed the damaged section of line.

Additional work included:

• Installed adapter to transition from PVC to copper piping
• Installed a 90° offset to properly reconnect the line to the meter
• Restored water service and tested the system
• Bled air from the home's water lines and checked for soil or debris before backfilling

Our Service Experts backfilled the work area and cleaned up the job site once repairs were complete.
