Water Heater Replacement and Recirculating Pump Install in Kennesaw

The Problem

Paul's gas water heaters at his home in Kennesaw were in need of replacement. On top of that, hot water wasn't reaching fixtures throughout his home as quickly as he wanted, so he reached out to us for a solution that would address both issues at once.

Our Solution

Our team drained and disposed of the old water heaters, then provided and installed (2) new 50-gallon Bradford White gas water heaters. The new heaters were installed in parallel, with isolation valves added so that each heater carries an equal burden of the load.

Additional work included:

Installed a new 5-gallon thermal expansion tank
Reconnected the flue vents and T&P lines
Placed the new heaters in galvanized drip pans for added protection

To improve hot water delivery to fixtures throughout the home, we also provided and installed a new Grundfos Comfort System hot water recirculating pump, along with the necessary shutoff and check valves. This portion of the project did not include any electrical work.

New thermal expansion tank, flue vent and T&P line connections, and galvanized drip pans
